United Way of Central Maryland Launches a Virtual Food Drive with the Maryland Food Bank

The current economic situation has left thousands of people across the region in need. Rising food and utility costs means many people are struggling on a daily basis. The government and nonprofit agencies that provide food and other services are having a hard time meeting the increased demand. To help meet this need, United Way of Central Maryland launched an Emergency Response Fund (ERF) Virtual Food Drive. This drive supports the Maryland Food Bank and will run from April 1 to April 30.
