On a cold morning after their electricity had just been shut off, Lauren and her husband Paul dialed 2-1-1. They didn’t know where else to turn when they were unable to pay their utility bill. Thanks to the resources provided by the 2-1-1 Maryland United Way Helpline, Lauren and her husband were able to get the utility bill paid and the power turned back on as well as much-needed food.
To say WPM Real Estate Management had a successful United Way fundraising campaign would be an understatement. They increased their participation rate by four times from last year.
