The 2015 CFC applications have been revised to require that each participating charity document that it has a substantial local presence in the campaign region to which it is applying. In our case, our member charities will apply to participate in the Chesapeake Bay Area CFC (CBACFC). as a part of the United Way of Central Maryland Federation. If approved, our Federation will appear in the CBACFC's paper Charity List and be made available to all Federal employees, regardless of their geographic location, via online CFC search engines.
