Women’s Leadership Council - GIVE
Philanthrophy is one of the core values of the Women’s Leadership Council. The investments made on behalf of the people and programs United Way leads and supports ensure that critical changes happen. Those investments help produce the outcomes and results that will truly make this region a better place for all.
Giving is one of the easiest ways to exert your influence. It’s a simple way to show your support and then let the experts handle the rest. United Way is grateful and moved by all gifts, no matter the amount.
Within the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC), there are two unique tiers for donors: the WLC-Tocqueville and the Women’s Initiative Next Generations (WINGS) program.
- The Women’s Leadership Council – Tocqueville is reserved for women who give $10,000 or more annually. There are currently 112 women who comprise this group.
- WINGS is reserved for women who give $1,000-$9,999 annually. There are currently 2,194 women who give at this level.
Last year, members of the WLC contributed more than $4 million to support health and human service programs and agencies that help children learn, make sure youth stay in school, help families access affordable housing and protect people from violence and abuse.
Thanks to the generous support and leadership of several foundations and individuals, you can take advantage of challenge grant programs that will have you in one of these programs in no time.
