Tocqueville Society
For more than 30 years, the Tocqueville Society has set the standard for charitable giving. Members contribute $10,000 or more annually and help motivate others to give generously as well. These donors are part of a national group of major gift leaders who provide philanthropic leadership across the country. The Tocqueville Society honors more than 375 individuals who serve our community through their extraordinary generosity.
Levels of Giving
Membres de la Société $10,000 - $24,999 per year
Ordre de Liberté $25,000 - $49,999 per year
Ordre d’Egalité $50,000 - $74,999 per year
Ordre de Fraternite $75,000 - $99,999
La Société Nationale $100,000 - $999,999 per year
La Table Ronde d’un Million de Dollars $1,000,000 or more per year

“In Their own Words” Speaker Series
The “In Their Own Words” Series profiles business leaders as they share their paths to success, barriers along the way and inspirational life lessons. United Way launched the “In Their Own Words” Tocqueville Society Breakfast Series in 2006 to offer unique informational and networking opportunities to Tocqueville members who generously donate $10,000 a year.
