Women's Leadership Council

In 2010, United Way of Central Maryland’s Women’s Leadership Council celebrated 10 years of advocacy, mentoring, networking, philanthropy and volunteering. It celebrated 10 years of change thanks to a small group of thoughtful, committed women. These women make an impact in Annapolis, in Washington, D.C. and in their own neighborhoods. That’s exactly what the group of 10 women envisioned when they created the council in 2000. United Way is grateful and proud of its Women’s Leadership Council. It invites members new and old - committed or just interested – to join this journey to change the world, starting with central Maryland.
