WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A LEADERS UNITED MEMBER

United Way of Central Maryland’s Leaders United is an extensive network of more than 3,500 generous donors who contribute $1,000 or more to United Way each year to change the odds for families and communities.

The Leaders United network includes central Maryland’s most engaged philanthropic, business and community leaders, who share a passion for strengthening our community. We’re improving education and access to healthy food, plus keeping children and families out of homeless shelters and getting our neighbors in need on the path to self-sufficiency and a brighter future.

Benefits of belonging

Leaders United members are invited to exclusive networking, volunteer and family fun events:

  • “In Their Own Words” breakfasts featuring prominent community leaders
  • Families Living United volunteer events
  • Leaders United networking and social events

Supporting United Way means you’re helping to change the odds for families across central Maryland. We’re committed to helping families facing poverty obtain access to healthy, affordable food and healthcare, and a quality education.
