Start on your journey to help central Maryland…and learn what it means to LIVE UNITED.
We all have different talents, interests and abilities to give – both of time and financially. What do we have in common? The basic desire to help others in our community.
We invite you to join us in making a difference in central Maryland in the way that works best for YOU.
If you want to volunteer your time, there are plenty of options to fit your schedule and interests.
First, think about the type of help you would like to provide. If connecting with people makes you thrive, volunteering in a place where you have direct contact with the service recipients – like a soup kitchen, homeless shelter or youth center – could be the perfect match for you. If you prefer more behind-the-scenes work (equally important!), there are just as many ways to get involved.
You will also want to think about the time commitment you would like to make. Be sure you’re not over-extending yourself – whatever time you can give makes a difference. Whether you want to volunteer as an individual or with your family, friends or colleagues, we can help you find the right opportunity.
If you want to make a financial donation, you don’t have to be a millionaire...or even a “thousand-aire.”
