Blood is traditionally in short supply during the winter months. Coordinate a blood drive or donate blood at your local Red Cross donation center.

It's Read Across America month. Participate in UWCM's Virtual Book Drive to donate books to kids in need.

National Volunteer Week encourages all Americans to commit to volunteering in your community and also celebrates the invaluable services volunteers do every day. Contact your local Volunteer Center for volunteer opportunities year-round.

Celebrate Mother's Day by coordinating a Community Baby Shower to provide new Moms in need with the supplies she needs to take care of her new bundle of joy.

June 21st is the longest day of the year. Celebrate by participating in United Way's annual National Day of Action.

Food Banks often run dry during the summer months. Join UWCM's Access to Healthy Food Initiative by coordinating a healthy food drive or volunteering to serve a meal or sort food donations.
