From Towson to Catonsville, United Way of Central Maryland is committed to connecting with people in Baltimore County.

Our collaborations and partnerships across the region are working to make a difference for the more than 300,000 households that call Baltimore County home.


Discretionary Grants Each year, the United Way of Central Maryland Community Partnership of Baltimore County awards thousands of dollars in discretionary funding to local health and human service agencies in, or serving residents of, Baltimore County. United Way’s discretionary funds are used to support programs directed at people demonstrating the greatest need under United Way's key focus areas: These proposals will be reviewed and voted upon by local Baltimore County volunteers and partnership board members.
