Our collaborations and partnerships across the region are working to make a difference for the more than 98,000 households that call Baltimore County home.

Discretionary Grants

Each year, the United Way of Central Maryland Community Partnership of Howard County awards thousands of dollars in discretionary funding to local health and human service agencies in, or serving residents of, Howard County. United Way’s discretionary funds are used to support programs directed at people demonstrating the greatest need under United Way's key focus areas: These proposals will be reviewed and voted upon by local Howard County volunteers and partnership board members.
