UNITED WAY OF CENTRAL MARYLAND ANNOUNCES NEW
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

 

Baltimore, MD (June 17, 2008) — United Way of Central Maryland has hired Sandy Monck as a new senior vice president responsible for the community impact division.

In her new role, Monck will direct United Way’s four impact areas (basic needs, family safety, school readiness and youth achieving potential). She will oversee strategic initiatives, public education, public policy, outcomes/evaluation, development of partnerships/collaborations, resource mobilization and fund distribution as related to the impact areas.

Monck has 20 years of experience in human services, business and management.

Most recently she served as the homeless services coordinator for Baltimore County government.
