As we celebrate 90 years of changing the odds for families in our region, we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re not just looking back on great memories of all we’ve accomplished together in the past. We’re focused on the future. On the next 90 years. On creating strong, vibrant communities for all of us.
That’s why we’re launching Challenge 90, a series of volunteer and engagement activities to bring central Maryland together and focus on building a brighter future — financial stability for families, affordable housing, support for students so they can graduate, and access to healthy food and health care.
It’s easy to get involved. Just create an activity in your workplace that’s connected to United Way’s work and the number 90. Need ideas?
Collect 90 nonperishable healthy food items
Create a 90-second video about helping the community
Together with your co-workers, volunteer at total of 90 hours reading to kids
Deliver 90 healthy items to a local soup kitchen
Donate 90 children’s books
You get the idea. Rally your network and join us! Contact Beth Littrell at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about how you, your friends and your workplace can be a part of Challenge 90.
