Beyoncé and United Way are turning lemons into lemonade

Date: May 25, 2016

Love Beyoncé? Hate poverty? Get a chance to see her live when you register to become a United Way volunteer and help local children and families in need – by harvesting fresh produce, packing school supplies, preparing meals and more. Those who register will be entered to win two tickets to Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour concert on June 10 in Baltimore, featuring songs from her new album, “Lemonade.” Three pairs of tickets will be awarded, and winners will be announced on June 3.

United Way has aligned with Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD initiative as part of a nationwide effort to strengthen communities. Throughout the course of the tour, fans are coming together across the country to volunteer and give back to make a difference in their communities.

To register and be eligible to win, individuals must 1) text the keyword “LEMONADE” to 51555 or visit uwcm.org/lemonade and 2) submit the form. Registrants are encouraged to invite friends to be their “+1” and sign up to volunteer together. If an individual you refer adds your name as a referral in their registration, we’ll will sweeten the deal by adding your name into the drawing twice.

Good luck, and thanks for joining us to help us change the odds for families and communities.
