TITLE: Sr. Director, Information Technology
DUTIES: Plan, organize, execute, and manage non-profit information technology projects including Andar (Donation Processing Software), Accounting Software, VOIP phone system and iCarol (Information and Referral software). Consult with department and project team members. Assist in planning and implementation of changes to supporting on premises and cloud infrastructure. Manage technical staff and subcontractors in the administration and maintenance of organization LAN and WAN and development of security policies. Work with executive management to develop IT and project budgets and policies. Manage IT project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables. Assess current or future company needs and priorities by communicating directly with executive staff. Review & update of project deliverables, assignment of resources, status reporting, issue tracking, maintenance of project plans, and coordination with other groups. Management, developing, and coaching the Help Desk Administrator. Review and update all IT policies annually. Contribute to the security aspects of the design of systems. Assist Vice President IT in development of a formal procedure for reporting information security incidents and investigations. Manage network engineers responsible for monitoring systems for security incidents. Contribute to the business continuity planning process. Advise on and monitor the safeguarding of organizational records. Request and Review the SOC-II audits for IT vendors across the organization annually. Complete network security assessments for external customers. Conduct security assessments. Maintain an IT Asset Management procedure for end-of-life assets. Maintain a Patch Management Policy and procedure that applies to all devices (servers, systems, appliances, printers etc.) that connect to the network. Review vendor security for new software proposals and conduct annual security assessment for existing software. Review and submit invoices for approval. Vendor selection for key services such as ISP, Telecommunications, Software. Consult with managerial personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required. Co-ordinate United Way Worldwide the shared CRM roll-out. Participate in technology forum and serve on IT committee. Review & update of project deliverables, assignment of resources, status reporting, issue tracking, maintenance of project plans, and coordination with other groups. Manage projects from design to implementation in the production environment, efficiently plan, process, and perform tasks with little or no supervision. Assist in evaluation and migration of software targeted for implementation. Assist in analyzing software solutions and exploring feasibility of using technology to streamline as many organization functions as possible.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MS Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering of closely related field) AND 2 years related technical experience (e.g. Software Developer / Database administrator working with Andar/360 or similar nonprofit donation processing software). Will also accept Bachelors Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering of closely related field) with 5 years related progressive technical experience (e.g. Software Developer / Database administrator working with Andar/360 or similar nonprofit donation processing software). Telecommuting Permitted. Must live within normal commuting distance of office to attend frequent meetings.
