GIVE TO UNITED WAY
Your gift keeps Marylanders in homes, helps kids in school, and provides access to healthy food and jobs that pay the bills.
In a world of seemingly infinite choices—and ever-increasing needs—it can be hard to know which organizations and efforts are really improving our community and the lives of those in greatest need.
United Way of Central Maryland’s Emerging Tocqueville Society connects you to causes you care about and ensures that your contributions go as far as possible.
Created for those who are committed to supporting meaningful and lasting community impact, Emerging Tocqueville helps you scale your giving into transformational philanthropy.
This group is a new route to membership in United Way’s Tocqueville Society, and it provides an extended, three-year runway with all the privileges of immediate and full membership in this exclusive group of our most generous donors.
As a member of Emerging Tocqueville, you will be able to identify and define your unique philanthropic priorities, and connect and engage with people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs in pursuit of a shared vision for a better tomorrow for Greater Baltimore.
You’ll enjoy professional and social networking, mentoring, professional development, and volunteer opportunities that will help you find your philanthropic voice—and ensure that others hear it.
Emerging Tocqueville is designed to grow with you now and in the future. Members make an initial donation of $2,500, then become part of our step-up program to amplify their donation over a span of three years. After that point, members can take advantage of the Tocqueville Society step-up program.
We are looking for collaborators and changemakers to bring about sustainable solutions to tackle the tough issues facing our communities. Are you ready? Join us today!
