United Way of Central Maryland Employee, Hamilton Resident, Selected for United Way Worldwide Fellowship Program

September 28, 2021

Baltimore, Md. - (April 21, 2021) – Bruce Kranig, associate vice president of development at United Way of Central Maryland, has been selected to participate in United Way’s Fellowship Program. An accelerated year-long development course, the program is designed for core leaders of United Way who are high performers and have proven capacity for leadership.

“United Way of Central Maryland is proud that Bruce Kranig was chosen to be a member of this year’s Fellowship Program,” said Franklyn Baker, president and CEO, United Way of Central Maryland. “I know he will represent our organization well, and am excited to see what he learns and brings back to the greater Baltimore region. It is leaders like Bruce who will engage with the next generation of donors and fuel our work to provide what’s needed, where it’s needed.”

Selection for the fellowship program is based on an individual’s performance, mastery of skills and core competencies, and potential for leadership. Applications come from the nearly 13,000 people serving in local United Ways around the world, and across all departments. Admission to the program is highly selective, with participation limited to just 30 applicants each year.

United Way Worldwide’s 2021 Fellowship Program runs from March 2021 to October 2021.
