They say good leaders are hard to find. If that’s true, we hit the jackpot, because there was no shortage of leaders at our September 1 Leaders United launch event. In fact, the Baltimore Visitor Center was at capacity as nearly 200 of central Maryland’s most influential leaders gathered to be inspired and motivated to come together and make a real difference in the lives of those struggling in our communities; to help us broaden our impact and do more; to be a powerful force for change.
The event was born out of the decision to re-launch our Leadership Society and the changing of its name to Leaders United – a name that better defines the people it embodies – a network of leaders united to create real change. A movement we are confident will take our region by storm.
In the coming year, Leaders United will help move our organization forward through its leadership and ability to leverage their networks of colleagues, friends and family – engaging them in our work with volunteerism, innovative problem solving around community issues and fundraising.
This great work we will embark on cannot happen without the support of this year’s sponsors of Leaders United – a group of organizations who know what it takes to not only lead, but to lead with purpose. Thank you to GM Baltimore Operations, EZShield, Signal Hill, Rightsource Marketing, Wegmans, Saul Ewing and CBIZ MHM for your commitment and dedication to Leaders United and its mission to create real change in central Maryland.
